Philippine Eagle Center
The Philippine Eagle Center is a conservation and breeding facility for the critically endangered National Bird of the Philippines, the Philippine Eagle (Pithecophaga jefferyi). PEC is the research, education and captive breeding facility of the Philippine Eagle Foundation, a non-profit conservation organization. Since 1987, the Philippine Eagle Foundation has been continually working to save the Philippine Eagle and its forest homelands through field research, community-based initiatives, captive breeding, and conservation education.
