Apo View Hotel is a classic. I’m glad they were able to bounce back after the pandemic so now we can enjoy their rooms and amenities. For me, the rooms are okay despite being old. Kinda takes time getting to the rooms from the lobby. Breakfast is okay with sufficient options. I appreciate the customer service. The staff speak politely to the guests.

Love the variety of foods they offered during meal time and the options are not limited to one options. One of the best service you could get in the city.If ever you'll dine in there, ask for Kuya Rudy, he provides world class service.

—Stayed for 7 nights—**POOL: UNDER RENOVATION/ CLOSED**Room: We got family room it’s old but wide space for 4 persons, cheaper than other hotels though very poor Wifi. Can’t connect at all. We called the front desk they said, forget network and connect again but still not working at all. They got hot and cold shower with bathtub. Free bottle water, toothbrush, shampoo, lotion.** Buffet Breakfast :It’s okay, It’s Filipino food nothing special.Very comfortable sits. I like it.** Location:There is a mall just 10mins walking.Peoples Park very close too.—These are based on our experience.

We have dinner at the Entrēē.. I love their foods everything is delicious. No worries upon parking they have a wide space. The server as well as the chef are nice. We spent almost 2hours there, sobrang sarap lahat nang foods nila. Definitely we will comeback soon. Kudos Apo View Hotel.
I would say they've got the best location in town. Once you go out of the hotel, the restaurants and shops are just walking distance. The ambiance of the rooms will make you feel as if it was during 90's because of its interior design. Sad to say that their small refrigerator even looked as if it was way back 90's, too because of its rust and stains. The bathtub drainage did not look clean as well and made us decide to just use the shower instead. Whenever you need to use the toilet bowl, you need to step on the flush longer for you flush out everything. It's as if you're using an old toilet in public restrooms in an old SM branch or bus terminals.Breakfast buffet is one of their best services. They have many choices of food to choose from. Just don't think of availing their dinner buffet though. A lot of people reserve tables for dinner. You won't be able to eat there unless you make an early reservation. From my experience, I had to request for a reservation for 7 people at exactly 6 PM on the same day. The waiter I talked to agreed. Upon arriving there at 6 PM, there were no tables reserved and available for us. The waiter I talked to earlier said that he thought it was only for 2 people. The words "two" and "six" do not even rhyme. What they offered was that they brought a picnic table and chairs for us to use in a classy, formal restaurant. We declined the offer since it was not the kind of service that we want to pay for.

Apo View Hotel

Welcome to Davao City’s premier and prestigious hotel — the Apo View Hotel.

Perfectly situated in the heart of the city, Apo View Hotel offers its guests with modern accommodations, exceptional service and warm hospitality while luxuriating in the hotel’s rich legacy – amidst the colorful vignettes of it’s famed City. Dubbed as the 2nd oldest hotel in the country, the Apo View Hotel has maintained its grandeur and continues to be the destination of choice by travellers, both foreign and local.

Established in 1948, Apo View Hotel started as a modest 15-room lodging facility with a restaurant, providing Davao visitors a convenient place to stay. With the hotel’s unique kind of homey ambiance, it’s popularity grew extensively. From it’s modest beginnings, the Apo View became a first-class hotel. In 1978, in spite of the growing civil unrest in the City during the 70s, the hotel underwent a major development and expanded to a 100-guest room establishment. Tragedy struck in 1988 when the iconic hotel was hit by fire, forcing the management to close its doors. Painstaking efforts by the City and the hotel owners were undertaken to bring back the allure of Apo View. The hotel was renovated and 46 rooms were added.

In 2014, under a new management, the hotel facility was further upgraded. Since the hotel was relaunched in October 2017, Apo View Hotel has about 156 guest rooms.
