It is also a symbol of Filipino culture because all Filipinos, even back then, were workers. This celebration shows that we are patient, and we are always happy.The use of this in our lives is that we can remember the histories of the people of Davao before, and we can see the effects of globalization on our culture. The City of Davao is really colorful.

Durian Capital of The Philippines

Durian is one of the fruits that Davao City is proud of because of its unique taste. It is often mistaken that durian is high in cholesterol but this is not true. There are several attractions in the Park, one of the main ones being “Pangil”, the country’s second largest crocodile at 18 feet long. The word “Pangil” means “fangs”. The Park features an afternoon show (4:00-4:30) called “The Pangil Encounter”, where caretakers enter the caged pond with a stick and poke Pangil, alarming the giant reptile. to go towards the stick, and it will hit the water with its tail which is the reason why there is splashing water for the spectators to enjoy.
